Community Consultation Information

Information with respect to the dates, times and locations of open consultation sessions will be posted over the next several days. Input to the process can be shared electronically at any time through this link (http://surveys.verticalresponse.com/a/show/255082/399db30990/0) and sent directly to the Presidential Search Committee at presidentialsearch@acadiau.ca.

Consultations will be a key part of the search process as the Committee refines the ideal candidate profile for the new President and Vice-Chancellor. We have set open Town Hall meetings for Friday, September 30th, Wednesday, October 5th and Thursday, October 6th in order for you to provide your perspective on these topics. We have invited Andrea Forbes-Hurley and Mark Surrette to join us. You may also choose to provide your insights anonymously through this e-survey: Presidential Search Survey.

If you wish to provide feedback in-person, and are unavailable for the sessions scheduled for your designated group, you are welcome to attend any of the open Town Hall sessions as listed below:

  • Friday, September 30 (Auditorium, K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre) 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Staff)
  • Wednesday, October 5 (Auditorium, K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre) 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (Faculty)
  • Thursday, October 6 (Room 204/Auditorium, Harvey Denton Hall) 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Students), 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Staff), 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Faculty)
